Camel safari came in different packages from 2 to 7 days that offer 40-50 km traversing on sand dunes. Nightlife lets you enjoy the folk music under starlit sky lying on desert sand gazing at the stars. The village people often engage in nightly celebrations wherein the local folk artists perform the traditional song and dance. Tourists are often seen sporting local dresses and jewellery. Camel carts are provided to carry luggage and enable the tourists to rest as and when required.
The tourists are offered an escort, foam mattresses with sleeping bags, three meals a day, tea/coffee and two mineral water bottles per day. For night they are offered tents on sharing basis. Once the capital of the Marwar state, it was founded in 1459 AD by Rao Jodha-chief of the Rathore clan of Rajputs who claimed to be descendants of Rama - the epic hero of the Ramayana. The massive 15th century AD Mehrangarh Fort looms on the top of a rocky hill, soaring 125 Mts. Above the plains. The city is encompassed by a high wall -10 km long with 8 gates and innumerable bastions.
Relax in the evening or proceed for shopping. Overnight at Jodhpur.
Day 02: Jodhpur - Jaisalmer

Proceed for Jaisalmer. Rising from the heart of the Thar Desert like a golden mirage is the city of Jaisalmer.
The city has an interesting legend associated with it, according to which, Lord Krishna-the head of the Yadav Clan, foretold Arjuna that a remote descendent of the Yadav Clan would build his kingdom atop the Trikuta Hill. His prophecy was fulfilled in 1156 AD when Rawal Jaisal, a descendent of the Yadav Clan and a Bhatti Rajput, abandoned his fort at Lodurva and founded a new capital -Jaisalmer, perched on the Trikuta Hill.
Reach and check in at hotel. Overnight at Jaisalmer.
Day 03: Jaisalmer - Camel safari for 1 km included
Proceed on camel backs early in the morning into the desert and reach
midway between Jaisalmer and Khuri.Camp for overnight stay.
Day 04: Jaisalmer - Camel safari for 1 km included
Proceed back to Jaisalmer on camel back.
Day 05: Jaisalmer - Jaipur
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to Jaipur and reach by evening.
Transfer to airport or station in time for flight or train or leave by surface for the next destination.
