Special Camel Safari

Duration: 4 Nights / 5 Days
Places to Visit : Jaipur - Jodhpur - Jaisalmer - Jaipur

India offers unique many unique travel experiences. Rajasthan is one of the most popular travel destinations and it has truly earned the name –a land once seen and never forgotten. True, it is impossible to forget a land which offers experiences as varied and thrilling as camel safari. It is the only option of getting the right spirit of the Thar Desert. One can experience the seeming endlessness of the desert. The swirling sand dunes and miles after miles of sand is best explored trough a camel safari. Though a desert, the Thar is very lively and hospitable. One can see some rare cactus here and the sight is even more fantastic when the cactus is in full bloom.

Camel safari came in different packages from 2 to 7 days. Generally traversing 40-50 kms is offered per day. It is indeed a great way of exploring the villages in the far flung deserts. These villages too have great cultural heritage one is astounded with the manner in which these people conserve their cultural heritage. These tours are mainly operational in the areas of Bikaner, Khimsar, Osian, and Jaiselmer. One can utilize the night halts near the villages to mingle with the villagers and have taste of the local life and culture. One can also try the traditional Rajasthan cuisine and the folk cultural events. The village people often engage in nightly celebrations wherein the local folk artists perform the traditional song and dance. Tourists are often seen sporting local dresses and jewellery. Camel carts are provided to carry luggage and enable the tourists to rest as and when required.

The tourists are offered three meals a day, tea/coffee and two mineral water bottles per day. There is one escort to look after the needs of the people. For night they are offered tents on sharing basis. Kitchen tents, toilet tents with pit system are also offered to make the journey comfortable. Tourists get foam mattresses along with sleeping bags. This is an unique experience and a tour to Rajasthan is incomplete without camel safari. If you are enthusiastic enough to have taste of the desert then camel safari is a must.
